Greeks and Climbing Prices – October 2022

Apart from electricity, heating petrol and car fuels, Greeks perceive prices of almost all goods and services extremely increased; as a result, they have reduced consumption of goods and services including those covering primary needs, due to insufficient income, or out of insecurity and fear for further increases. These are some of the findings of a new Focus Bari | YouGov national survey conducted in 19-26 September, 2002.

How can research data increase advertising effectiveness?

On September 22, 2022, an extremely successful conference took place at OTE Academy, Athens, organized by Boussias Communications and Mediarisk.   The Conference was titled Media : the New Creative  and touched upon a series of topics concerning the complexity and increased demands from media strategies and tactics.  The Conference’s basic question was “how can we be adequately effective in view of the current media scene which involves both traditional and new/social media, how can we deal with the speed with which this scene changes day by day, and which metrics should we use in order to measure our effectiveness?”

Focus On Tech Life Tips: January-June 2022

Greeks are universally digital citizens according to the Focus on Tech Life Survey by Focus Bari.  Internet usage has reached 95% among the population 13-74, with more than four out of five “silver adults” being online, while children aged 5-12 are also almost all online!

Greeks holidays & travelling

After two “Covid Summers” people still prefer to have local holidays than to travel abroad.  Greeks in particular, prefer holidays on the beach, choosing their destination based on value for money, family & friends, yet relying a lot on technology to stay connected even when away!

Valeria Tsamis, Elected President of SEDEA BoD

The members of SEDEA elected the new Board of Directors for the years 2022-2023 during the annual General Assembly meeting, which was held on Wednesday, January 26th  2022.

Valeria Tsamis, Managing Director of FOCUS BARI was re-elected as President of the Board having served in the same position also in 2020-2021, as vice-president for 6 years (2014-2019) and being an active Board member since 2003. Her re-election is and honor but also a commitment to continue contributing to SEDEA and his members and to the market research & opinion polling industry in Greece.

The new SEDEA BoD consists of:

  • Valeria Tsamis (FOCUS BARI AE) – President
  • Dimitris A. Mavros (MRB HELLAS AE) – VicePresident
  • Sophia Tsiliyanni (MARC AE) – General Secretary
  • Angela Stathopoulou (METRON ANALYSIS AE) – Treasurer
  • Lambros Katsanevas (IPSOS-OPINION AE) – Member

Alternate Board Member: Dorina Fydani (NIELSENIQ)
