A new institution established in the international telecommunications market, is the Antonio Meucci Global Telco Awards by Morethan160! With entries and sponsors from the largest telcos internationally, and with a Jury consisting of a group of prominent figures in Telecommunications, Communication and International Business, the final award ceremony took place on 20 September 2023 in Madrid, alongside the work of the Global Annual Telcos Conference.
At the ceremony that took place at the Teatro Goya in Madrid, more than 450 high-ranking executives attended, and Xenia Kourtoglou, as a judge, awarded the first prize in the “Avant Garde Marketing” category to the HEXA company.
The Antonio Meucci Telco Awards will be repeated every year, reliably sealing excellence in this very important area.
The International FESPA Conference was conducted in Glyfada, Athens on 14 & 15 September 2023, with a wide participation of entrepreneurs in the offset printing business from all over the world. The conference touched upon a range of interesting topics such as the importance of Customer Experience, the succession in Family Businesses, the Corporate Social Responsibility, the Female Leadership, etc.
Xenia Kourtoglou, Founder Focus Bari & Resilience Expert, presented historical data and national research results regarding women’s position in entrepreneurship and business leadership, describing the long way that Greek business women have come through, the developments during the last 30 years, as well as the importance of female participation in leadership teams.

Valeria Tsamis, Managing Director Focus Bari & President of SEDEA was present at the annual ESOMAR congress entitled: “SUPER CHARGE” which took place in Amsterdam, on September 10-13/2023.
This year’s congress was attended by over 1,100 delegates from 78 countries in physical presence and attended online by over 1,500 Market Research professionals from around the world. The conference – in the context of the rapid development of new technologies and constant challenges – focused on topics such as the ability of insights to “supercharge” brands, the acceleration of sustainability, understanding Gen Z, leveraging the metaverse and artificial intelligence and connecting disparate data to “supercharge” people’s understanding.
On Sunday 10/3, before the official start of the Congress, the ESOMAR Associations Leaders Summit took place, where Valeria Tsamis participated representing SEDEA which earlier this year had signed a Partnership Agreement with Esomar to strengthen the co-operation between the two parties.
At the closing of this year’s congress, it was announced that Greece will be the host country of this important for the Market Research industry international event, in September 2024!
