“Social media, e-shopping & ChatGPT – The dynamic digital everyday life of Greeks”

– The new edition of Focus on Tech Life Tips by Focus Bari –

According to the new edition of Focus on Tech Life by Focus Bari, which has been conducted nationwide since 1995, in combination with data from YOUGOV profiles and the Pan-Hellenic Survey on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and Voice.AI, the following observations can be made:

-Universal and intense online activity: Almost all users connect daily via smartphone, with an average time of 131 minutes per day, while 16-24 year olds reach 168 minutes.

-ChatGPT in the spotlight: 3 out of 5 Greeks are already entering the world of AI, with women and those aged up to 44 leading the trend.

-Explosion of e-shoppers: 8 out of 10 Greeks have made online purchases in the last six months, with debit cards being the primary payment method.

-Social media lovers: Women online dominate social media (95%), surpassing men and continuously reinforcing the trend.

-Digital gap & concerns: Women and people aged 50+ are concerned about the social impact of technology, while young people are driving digital developments.
