The Feat of Everyday Life:
3 out of 4 Greeks are the “Unseen Champions” of their own lives.
-New Nationwide Survey by Focus Bari on behalf of TOTAL BUSINESS –

The survey highlights how Greek society perceives the concepts of “Feat” and “Champion” in modern daily life and was presented on April 2, 2026, at the ATHLOS Business Summit.
In the packed AIGLI Ballroom, leading market executives discussed with Olympic and Paralympic champions and professional athletes, highlighting the importance of effort and perseverance in every aspect of life, both personal and professional.
The results were presented by Xenia Kourtoglou, founder of Focus Bari and Resilience Expert, who emphasized:
• Emotional identification:
7 out of 10 Greeks have experienced periods that required discipline similar to that of an athlete, with their professional careers and parental roles being the primary areas of their personal “struggle”
• Resilience in the Face of Failure:
Although failure is an almost universal experience (89%), the overwhelming majority of Greeks (80%) state that these difficulties ultimately turned out for the best, strengthening their mental resilience.
• Admiration for Champions (64%):
However, their arduous journey is often overlooked, with greater emphasis placed on victories and triumph.
• The Map of the Greek Mindset:
Three distinct trends emerge regarding the perception of the Feat:
The Realists (37%): who acknowledge the role of luck and circumstances
The Fighters (36%): who believe in personal transcendence
The Observers (27%): who view success as the experience of others.
